Adding your home page to the VAX's
University of Hartford students, faculty, and staff may request access to their
VAX-based WWW pages from the VAX's main home page. Detailed instructions for
setting-up home pages are available at the link below:
Set up your own World Wide Web page on the VAX
Your initial home page must be named either INDEX.HTML or WELCOME.HTML and must
be placed in a subdirectory in your account named [.WWW]. This directory, and
the files you wish to serve from it, must be open for read access to WORLD, as
described in the
instructions above.
To have a link to your home page added to the VAX's, just send an e-mail
message to SYSTEM. If you'd like, specify a brief topic to be included
next to your name (i.e., Dave Kelley's topic is "Dave's Llamas") to help draw
interest to your page.
