The sounds in front of the Spencer Museum are excerpts from 3 interviews we have conducted as part of our research for this project. They explore issues of tree life, history, and health, as well as the history of the KC/Lawrence area. They have been “enhanced” with background excerpts from the soundfiles used in the two other trees. The interviewees are:

Monroe Dodd, formerly of the Kansas City Star and a historian of the region.
