All emails regarding shirts should be sent to Michelle Penshorn: Penshorn@Hartford.edu.
The following link will direct you to the t-shirt design website. This is a
somewhat crude interpretation of the actual design, as the back logo will not
be as fuzzy on the final product. Please email me your size if you are interested.
The price is probably going to be either $10 or $12; I will let any interested
people know as soon as I can.

Alpha Chi is excited to announce the creation of two new national scholarships established in honor of past presidents of the National Council, Robert W. Sledge and Edwin W. Gaston, Jr. The Sledge Fellowship will carry a stipend of $3,500. Like the existing Benedict Fellowships, it will go to a member who will be in the first year of graduate or professional school in the fall of 2005. Of the ten Benedict applicants chosen as recipients, the top student will be designated as the Sledge Fellow, with the stipend $1,000 more than the Benedict recipients' $2,500. The Gaston Scholar will be chosen in the same way, selected from the ten Nolle Scholarship winners, all of whom will be undergraduate seniors in 2005-06. Whereas the Nolle stipend is $1,500, the Gaston stipend will be $2,500. With this modification of the scholarship and fellowship program, there will be one Sledge and Gaston award each, and nine Benedict and Nolle awards each. You can view all the details inside the new Fellowships & Scholarships brochure, or follow this link to the PDF: http://www.harding.edu/alphachi/PDF/SchRules04.pdf Actual applications will be mailed in October to the primary contact on each campus.
